The Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of observance, whereby members of the Christian Church, who have been baptized, partake of this ordinance. There are two elements: the bread, which symbolizes the broken body of Jesus, meaning the giving of His life: and the fruit of the vine, which symbolizes the shedding of His blood for the remission of the believer's sin. The death of our Redeemer. As believers we do this in remembrance of the Lord Jesus, as we wait in anticipation of his second coming.
