YOU MUST LEARN TO NAVIGATE THROUGH A SEA OF EMOTIONS, from day to day, if you are going to successfully interact with others in the social arena of life!
And that is because, due to their life-long posture of immaturity, most people are dominated by their emotions.
Indeed, although they have been divinely designed to be ruled by principle, they have elected to grovel in an emotional approach to life.
This most unfortunate debacle spans the breadth and scope of every nation, tainting both genders and all ethnicities - and endures from generation to generation, continuously embroiling the bulk of the human populace in murder, mayhem and misery.
And no matter what you say or do to help them cease their foolish, emotion-based approach to living, the great majority of them will reject your counsel and never change.
As it is written in the oracle of Jedidiah,
"Though thou shouldest bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him" (Proverbs 27:22).
Wherefore, you must not only take care to avoid being dominated by your own emotions, equally as important is the fact that you must espouse the wisdom of interacting with your family, friends, and foes, along with every other person on the planet, with kid gloves on.
Elsewise, you run the risk of being damaged - to one degree or another - by their juvenile cretinism, thereby allowing them to sabotage your most precious commodity of all, which is your peace.
As Ralph Waldo Emerson admonished us all,
"Come not into their confusion."
Selah!
